Dhanaulti is a hill station 24 km (15 mi) from the famous hill station of Mussoorie, and 31 km (19 mi) from Chamba, as it is situated between the two. It is arranged at an elevation of 2286m, and is known for its tranquil environs in the midst of the snow capped timberlands of Deodar, Rhododendron and Oak.

1. Surkanda Devi Temple
Surkanda Devi is a Hindu temple situated near the little resort village of Dhanaulti in the town Uniyal goan of Tehri District. It is at an elevation of around 2,757 meters, or 9976ft lies near adjacent hill stations of Dhanaulti(8km) and Chamba (22km) walking separation of approx 3km from Kaddukhal, where vehicles are parked.
The Ganga Dussera celebration is praised each year amongst May and June and attracts a lot of people. This is a temple which is situated among the trees of rounslii. It is covered with haze more often than not of the year.
2. Eco Parks – A rendezvous with nature
It is the primary fascination of Dhanaulti. There are two Eco-parks, Amber and Dhara around 200 m separated. It has been developed recently by the Forest Department of Uttarakhand with the assistance of neighborhood youth. Around 60 local youth, both male and females are employed as Guides, Gardeners, Service providers, Ticket Collectors, Information Providers and so on.
It houses a protected patch of small forest containing Deodar Trees. There is an entry fee of Rs 25 For Adults and Rs 10 for Children.
The adventure sports facility is available for visitors in the form of walking over the flying fox and burma bridges and riding horses. There is also a facility for visitors to plant a sapling of tree species in the memory of their beloved, which is called as memory sapling plantation.
3. Potato Farms
The large expanses of potato farm also known as Aloo Khet, is a place where the tourists can have a walk. These fields belong to the government and also are owned by private farmers.
The production of potatoes is substantial and is supplied to many places outside the state of Uttarakhand. It is a very popular sunrise point where one can spend time with Friends & Family.
